NALED

National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED)

Part of the MEGA program is the establishment of the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED) as an organization and advocacy group, which will partner with the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SCTM), but will take the leading role in lobbying and promoting local economic development in Serbia.  The overarching goal of the Alliance is to help businesses grow so that they can help society prosper.  To that end, the Alliance will provide a forum for the exchange of information between businesses, public authorities and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), aimed at promoting the common interest of its participating segments: economic progress contributing to wellbeing of all parts of society.  The Alliance will strive for improving the regulatory framework for LED and for the improvement of the capacities of local communities to actively engage in promoting economic growth.
