This page explains how the Municipal Economic Growth Activity (MEGA) will handle information we learn about you from your visit to our web site. The information we receive depends upon what you do when visiting our site.

1. If you visit our site to read or download information, we collect and store only the following information about you: the name of the domain from which you access the Internet, the date and time you access our site, the Internet address of the web site from which you linked directly to our site; and what information you view while you visit our web site.

We use the information we collect to measure the number of visitors to the different sections of our site and find out what information is the most viewed.

3. In general, this site does NOT use the "cookies".

However, you should be aware that on a limited number of pages, "cookies" are used only to authenticate the identity of the user (for the project implementation section of the site where you need to be logged in and registered in order to view, enter or edit the information). It is a PHP session cookie which is active during the open session and only while the browser is open.
A cookie is also used for language selection.

MEGA takes the safeguarding of any personally identifying information very seriously. MEGA will not share any information with anyone outside of the program.
